Maruti Suzuki, which is India’s top car manufacturer, has declared that it will break off working on its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) versions and would launch the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) versions of its total collection by early 2010.

Maruti Alto, which is otherwise known as the bread and butter car for Maruti is going to be the I model to be wheeled with a CNG kit accompanied by other cars in the Maruti Stable.
The company is expecting for a more bettered dispersion network of CNG throughout the country, ab initio in the main cities. The company had also before this offered CNG models and has again now planned to reintroduce the CNG versions again in every segment.
BS-IV discharge standard will be enforced in 11 cities in the country from the following year, and Maruti is pitching itself to bring out CNG versions of its vehicles.
